Our teachers benefit from a comprehensive professional development
program that offers opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skill
in strategies that support students with learning differences.
In addition to a talented team of classroom teachers, New Way Learning
Academy features several types of specialists who work with children to
boost skill and confidence in areas in which they face particular
challenges and need additional support.
These professionals include reading specialists, occupational
therapists, speech/language specialists and others. New Way Learning
Academy specialists provide support to students designated to receive
these services as part of their NWLA individual education plan-with no
additional charge above and beyond annual tuition.
Coupling classroom instruction with specialist support assures that we
do the best job possible in meeting the unique needs of each of our
students.
Administrative Team/Staff
Our administrative team supports and furthers the mission of New Way Learning Academy in several areas--including education, development and business/finance.
Dawn Gutierrez, our Head of School, handles all operations and reports to the Board of Directors.
