End of the Year Events Schedule & Info
Please join us in celebrating our student's achievements. The morning Awards Ceremony is a required event, and students will be dismissed upon its completion at 11:00 A.M. However, students are welcome to stay for the 8th Grade Promotion. Parents are required to provide transportation for their child accordingly. If you are unable to attend the Awards Ceremony, please make arrangements to have your child dropped off at 8:15 A.M. and picked up by 11:00 A.M. Students staying for the 8th Grade Promotion will need to be picked up at 12:30 P.M.
Please fill out the RSVP and return it to your child's homroom teacher as soon as possible.

8th Grade Promotion* 11:00-12:30pm
High School Graduation* 6:30pm-8:00pm

Congratulations on achieving this educational milestone! Here is some information that will help you prepare for this special event.
Please come dressed and ready to attend the morning's Awards Ceremony and remain on the Scottsdale Community College campus for your Promotion on the 27th.
This is a memorable event, please feel free to invite as many people as you would like. If you would like to order announcements/invitations please contact Erin VanDenburgh for more information.
Dress Code - Boys: Dress pants, dress shirt and dress shoes
- Girls: Skirt and blouse, pants outfit or a dress, and dress shoes
Graduating Seniors
The following is being provided by NWLA:
- Caps/Gowns/Tassels
- Invitations/Announcements: 12 customized with each student's name will be given to the graduates to take home. If you require more contact Erin VanDenburgh.
- Seniors/Parent Dinner - May 8th 6:00-8:00pm at Macayo's Mexican Kitchen (directions/map)
- Graduation Reception after the Ceremony on May 27th
All graduates must arrive at SCC no later than 5:30pm
Please make sure to have your student at the Performing Arts Center on the Scottsdale Community College campus (click on the link at the top of the page for a map of the campus).
Graduation Ceremony
The Class of 2008 graduation ceremony will be held at Scottsdale Community College in the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, May 27th at 6:30pm. A reception for the graduates with photo opportunities will be held immediately following the ceremony.
Graduate Dress Code
- Boys: Dress pants, shirt and tie and dress shoes
- Girls: Skirt and blouse or a dress (no pants), and dress shoes
